Job Description Overview We are seeking a highly experienced Electronics Systems Technician to oversee and execute the maintenance, testing, and operational analysis of complex security and electronic systems. This role requires a hands-on leader with deep technical expertise and a strong background in multidisciplinary collaboration. Key Responsibilities u2003u2022 Analyze system operations and test results to ensure optimal performance and identify maintenance needs. u2003u2022 Execute authorized tests on security systems and subsystems to verify functionality and detect issues. u2003u2022 Identify and correct system malfunctions where possible, and report all issues and resolutions to the Systems Support Engineering Team (SSET). u2003u2022 Advise the SSET on system abnormalities and limitations that may impact future system designs or operational methodologies. u2003u2022 Ensure all services are completed in alignment with supervisory guidance and operational standards. u2003u2022 Report system-related problems and performance concerns to the SSET. u2003u2022 Serve as a lead technician while actively contributing to the maintenance and installation team. If you need assistance and/or a reasonable accommodation due to a disability during the application or recruiting process, please send a request to learn more about how we collect, keep, and process your private information, please review Insight Global's Workforce Privacy Policy: Skills and Requirements u2022 Minimum 10 years of experience in electronics installation and/or maintenance across multiple systems and customer programs. u2003u2022 At least 6-10 years of experience with intercom, intrusion alarm systems, access control, and CCTV u2003u2022 Proven ability to work with multidisciplinary teams and manage time effectively to meet deadlines and quality objectives. u2003u2022 Strong oral, written, and presentation skills. u2003u2022 Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. u2003u2022 Minimum 5 years of SQL database experience, including query writing, data analysis, and database structure management. u2003u2022 Solid understanding of electronics principles including electricity, electronic theory, algebra, and elementary physics. u2003u2022 Knowledge of electronic equipment design, testing, installation, and maintenance. u2003u2022 Familiarity with the capabilities and limitations of various electronic systems and equipment. u2022 Vendor certifications in multiple Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), Access Control Systems (ACS), and Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) systems. u2022 Hands-on experience with systems such as Software House CCURE, Verint, MDI, AMAG Symmetry, Bosch IDS, Hirsch (Identiv), and AIphone Intercom Systems.
