Communicates with Finance team and managers. Participates in decision-making process by identifying issues and recommending solutions.The internship is for the semester with opportunity to extend based on company need and job performance.15-20 hours per week Performs basic financial and business analysis functions.Provides support to all functions within Finance.Learns/observes the business interaction with other DepartmentsPerforms other relevant duties as assignedBecomes proficient in working with large data files using the appropriate softwareNo related work experience required.Requires basic knowledge of computer programs in a Windows environment, including Word, Excel and E-mail.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Can work autonomously as well as with a team.Knowledge of insurance, business, finance is preferred.Education RequirementPursuit of a Bachelor’s Degree with a focus in Finance, Risk Management and Insurance (or other applicable major) preferred.A rising Junior is preferred.GPA of 3.0 and above required.We do not accept any unsolicited resumes from external recruiting agencies or firms.Hour Rate: $25/hour.This is an in-office role (occasional hybrid schedule); opportunity for full-time hours during the summer.Sponsorship not Offered for this Role
