Typical projects involve reinforced concrete mat foundations, installation of 45 ft. vertical or horizontal storage vessels, cryogenic and high pressure systems, ASME B31.3 pipe welding, process system installation, and hazardous area (CL 1 Div. 1 & 2 Group B or D) electrical work. We have an immediate need for CAD Drafters / Modelers to support our large scale commercial projects in the rapidly growing alternative fuel market. Our projects are typically design/build projects. We self-perform all engineering and specialty construction. Because we have a reputation of getting the job done, we are requested to do unique, one-of-a-kind projects.Salary Range:$77,000 To $138,000Creating 3D models of assemblies and partsCreating the following types of drawings:Construction drawings for Mechanical, Civil, Structural, and ElectricalPiping and tubing assemblies complying with ASME B31.3 requirementsPressure Vessels complying with ASME pressure vessel code Section VIIISteel frame weldments for equipment skids and cold box framesPiping and instrument diagramsDetails of machined partsSelection of component parts and materials to be used in the above drawing types and creating parts lists for procurementCreating and managing assembly drawing tree structures and estimates for completion of workInteraction with project, mechanical and structural engineers in creation of designsInteraction with manufacturing vendors regarding design issuesMinimum completion of high school or equivalentCollege and/or CAD Technical school degree preferredMinimum of five years of experience with the mechanical design responsibilities listed aboveUse with formal training for the following engineering and design software (in order or preference):Inventor 2019 or newer is a MUSTP&ID experience is a MUSTAutoCAD 2019 or newerProficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe AcrobatPLM Software (Softech ProductCenter or other similar)ERP Software (Engineering BOM creation)Knowledge of and experience with ASME piping and pressure vessel codesEqual Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled Nikkiso CE&IG is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
