This position requires exceptional attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with staff. Most of the verification and preauthorization will be online with individual payer websites via input of our providers seeing the patient for future appointments.Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility for medical servicesOrder and verify injectable drug coverageConfirm insurance plan details, such as policy numbers, effective dates, and co-paysUpdate and maintain accurate patient insurance information in the electronic health records (EHR) systemCommunicate effectively with patients, insurance companies, and healthcare providers to obtain necessary insurance informationEducate patients on their insurance benefits, coverage, and any potential out-of-pocket expensesObtain prior authorizations and pre-certifications as required by insurance plans for specific medical proceduresEnsure all necessary documentation is submitted to insurance companies in a timely mannerCollaborate with the billing department to resolve insurance-related issues and discrepanciesAssist in resolving denied claims by reviewing and correcting billing errorsStay up to date with changes in insurance regulations and policiesEnsure all insurance verification processes comply with relevant healthcare laws and regulations, including HIPAAHigh school diploma or equivalent (associate or bachelor’s degree preferred).Previous experience in healthcare insurance verification or related field.Strong knowledge of medical terminology, insurance plans, and billing procedures.Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) and billing software.Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle difficult situations with patience and professionalism.Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and complianceIn Turn We Will Provide:Benefits to full time team members that include comprehensive medical, dental and optical coverage, 401k and short and long term disability.Company paid life insurance.Paid holidays and generous paid time off.Paid parking where applicable.Team oriented working environment where you are heard and respected.Clear career ladder opportunities.ESP#2
