Desktop Support Analyst

Description We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in New Braunfels, Texas. In this long-term contract role, you will provide advanced technical support, troubleshoot system issues, and ensure the seamless operation of end-user devices and applications. This role is ideal for a proactive individual with strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to delivering excellent user support. Responsibilities: u2022 Diagnose and resolve Tier II hardware, software, and networking issues to maintain system reliability. u2022 Provide advanced support for escalated technical challenges from Tier I technicians. u2022 Install, configure, and troubleshoot user systems, including PCs, laptops, and multifunction printers. u2022 Address malware, spyware, and virus issues by remediating affected systems. u2022 Troubleshoot basic network connectivity problems to ensure uninterrupted access. u2022 Assist with user onboarding and offboarding, including hardware setup and equipment returns. u2022 Collaborate with external vendors and consultants to resolve complex IT issues. u2022 Conduct user training on best practices for technology usage and cybersecurity protocols. u2022 Travel to remote locations to deliver on-site support as needed. u2022 Participate in on-call rotations to address critical issues or meet project deadlines. Requirements u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree or at least 4 years of relevant experience. u2022 Valid driveru2019s license and ability to travel to remote sites as required. u2022 Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams. u2022 Expertise in PC desktop hardware, Microsoft Windows 10, and desktop imaging. u2022 Familiarity with Active Directory and Citrix environments. u2022 Relevant certifications as required by the team or management. u2022 Proven ability to adhere to cybersecurity principles and organizational policies.
