Refund Specialist Finance and Accounting Support Job Overview: This position will be responsible for providing general accounting and administrative support for our accounting department. A refund specialist ensures that guidelines and policies around cash applications processes are adequate and effective, and that such policies are being refunded to the appropriate recipient. The ideal candidate will be a reliable and flexible individual with strong customer service skills. This individual must be a deadline driven task expert capable of working with minimal supervision. Primary Responsibilities and Duties: Approve or reject refunds within 5 business days, this incudes level one, and level two approvals Submit our refund checks report daily to Accounts Payable for processing Monitor the Refund Inbox for inquiries and confirmations from Accounts Payable Responsible for voiding refunds once Accounts Payable confirms our stop/void requests Complete Service Now Tickets within 5 business days Payment reversal requests from our Billing team are completed in a timely manner Assist in special projects and/or additional tasks assigned by the leadership team Identify, create and/or improve processes Qualifications: Able to work independently Able to manage time amid multiple deadlines Adaptability to department and company changes Superb written and verbal communication skills Strong client relationship management and customer service skills Team player with the ability to work with multiple departments Expertise in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) Education and Work Experience: Associate degree in accounting preferred but not required Minimum of 1 to 2 yearsu2019 experience in accounts receivable requiredManpowerGroup is committed to providing equal employment opportunities in a professional, high quality work environment.
