Patient Service Representative

Description u2022 Primary point of contact for patient relations in person and by phone u2022 Greet patients and assist in resolving patient concerns and escalating as appropriate u2022 Check patients in/out and collect co-payments, give receipts, and reconcile payments u2022 Verify patient demographics and insurance information in CS-Link/Epic u2022 Schedule appointments and complete patient registration u2022 Process and track referrals and authorizations for various insurance types u2022 Handle patient/provider correspondence u2022 Explains polices, procedures, or services to patients u2022 Sanitize workspace using provided supplies and following department guidelines Additional Skills & Qualifications u2022 Experience with medical insurance, referral processes, and benefit plans u2022 1 year of recent experience working in an outpatient clinic or medical office setting u2022 Ability to read, understand, and respond to detailed oral and written instructions Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Beverly Hills, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
