Phlebotomist

Job Title: PhlebotomistJob Description We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our dynamic team. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy variety and state travel. The successful candidate will work at a patient service center, primarily performing blood draws. Responsibilities + Perform blood draws using straight needles for the majority of cases. + Utilize butterfly needles for difficult draws. + Conduct infant blood draws as needed. + Process blood samples efficiently and accurately. + Maintain a high level of attention to detail and administrative skills. Essential Skills + Proficiency in phlebotomy techniques. + Experience with straight needle blood draws. + Minimum of three years of experience in drawing blood. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with pediatric blood draws is a plus. + Strong administrative skills. + Attention to detail. Work Environment The position involves working in a backfill environment with a rotating schedule. The shifts are as follows: Monday from 8am to 6pm, Tuesday to Thursday from 8am to 5pm, Friday from 8am to 4pm, and rotating Saturdays at either Brentwood or Bay Shore from 7am to 3:30pm. This role does not require working on holidays or vacations. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Babylon, NY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
