We want your knowledge and expertise Job Summary and Qualifications We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our team on a PRN basis. As a PTA on our team, you will provide treatment and rehabilitative services to patients to improve mobility, relieve pain and disability under the direction of a Physical Therapist. Your duties and responsibilities may include: u00b7 Conduct patient education, including post-care planning, proper use of supportive devices and equipment, and gait and functional training. u00b7 Record, monitor, analyze and review clinical data; Provide feedback to therapist regarding possible modifications to treatment plan and goals based upon patient performance; Adapt recognized therapeutic techniques and modalities to meet the needs of the patient. u00b7 Collaborate with patient service departments and community service agencies to coordinate and conduct educational outreach programs and learning activities. u00b7 Utilize appropriate methods and material for effective learning, monitor response to education and adapt program as needed.
