PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT Sells and markets thefollowing products and services to new and existing customers: cropsinputs, such as fertilizer, crop protection pesticides, seed products,service income, technical services, and Ag-finance program. ESSENTIALJOB FUNCTIONS Implements marketing plans and develops sales strategiesthat generate profitable sales in the assigned territory. Travels toclient locations within assigned territory to establish GROWMARK brandand obtain orders for products and services. Utilizes target marketingand professional sales techniques, including the FS sales interview roadmap, cropping programs, emphasis of appropriate features and benefits,and contact management system when calling on patrons and prospects.Adheres to GROWMARK's sales and marketing strategies and attendsGROWMARK sales trainings as offered. Responsible for meeting sales goalsas established by supervisor. Develops territory and competitiveanalysis to maintain a current knowledge of the marketplace and thecompetition. Provides value-added agronomic products, services, andrecommendations to patrons and prospects. Schedules product delivery andapplication to patron locations. Conducts regular patron meetings onproduct and technical information to develop customer relationships anddrive sales.
