We are proud to have provided laboratory furniture solutions to some of the leading universities, biotech, government, corporate, industrial, and medical research facilities in the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, and Carolinas.As Marketing Manager, you will join a team-focused, fast-paced environment and will be integral in the success of New England Lab through developing our strategic brand to enhance our market presence as the preferred lab furniture vendor. The Marketing Manager needs to have experience developing a multi-faceted marketing program specifically in the A/E/C industry. They will drive brand awareness and lead generation through strategic planning, outreach, content marketing initiatives, and their associated KPI’s and ROI’s. This is a full-time, in-person, salary position with standard hours of 8am-5pm M-F, reporting to the President.RoleIn the position of Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for directing the overall strategy of New England Lab’s brand, message, and promotion through print, web, social media, advertising, tradeshows, publications and awards/recognition. Ensuring brand guidelines and consistent messaging of New England Lab’s marketing program. You will be the in-house expert on marketing initiatives, digital tools and tactics, and will collaborate with other departments to amplify existing marketing content and to deliver measurable results.Duties & ResponsibilitiesCreating, managing and growing New England Lab’s brand presence while engaging and targeting specific demographics through traditional print and advertising along with web and social media platformsOversee, manage, and develop all aspects of specific marketing for locations and divisions (3 locations/2 divisions)Identify, manage, and create strategy for industry events/trade shows to optimize engagement and client businessResponsible for the content, functionality, and results of the company websites and social media sites as well as management of media requests and determining relevanceMust prioritize and manage multiple concurrent assignments to ensure the delivery of materials that effectively communicate New England Lab’s messageDay-to-day budget oversight and management, including but not limited to planning, submission, tracking, and reportingResponsible for planning company events (may be required after hours and/or minimal domestic travel)Organize review sessions and manage feedback to collect best practices and areas for continuous improvementDevelop Marketing department and train and mentor new team membersResponsible for tracking current trends by attending events and representing New England Lab within local A/E/C communityManage inventory and organization of NEL clothing, literature, and giveaway productsWork with other departments (Sales, Technical Services, Client Solutions, NEC and Project Management) to ensure consistent messaging and easy access to vendor marketing materialsQualifications5-7 years of experience in marketing in the A/E/C industry requiredBS/BA in Marketing, Graphic Design, or related field required3+ years of experience designing as part of a marketing or creative team in the construction industry is preferredProven ability to initiate work, make strategic decisions, and follow through to meet deadlinesExpertise in Adobe Creative Suite, HubSpot, and other marketing programsExcellent verbal, written and presentation skillsAble to effectively manage changes, schedules, and personalitiesKnowledge of A/E/C industry terms and processesProactive planning, organization, coordination and communication are essentialProficiency in MS Office tools such as Excel, Word, and OutlookDisclaimerPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required.
