This role is pivotal in supporting our Mechanical, Fabrication, Plumbing, and technical systems modeling across multiple project phases. You’ll be part of a team that’s shaping the future of MEP design and fabrication through cutting-edge technology and expert craftsmanship.#ikmech#LI-SB1#LI-OnsiteKey ResponsibilitiesLead BIM production efforts, ensuring timely and accurate deliverablesSupervise and mentor BIM team, providing training and performance metricsManage software licenses, updates, and troubleshooting for BIM/CAD and TrimbleStandardize drawing elements including title blocks, notes, and detailing, in collaboration with engineering teamCoordinate BIM modeling across disciplines and project meetingsSupport design/build and plan/specification projects with engineering teamsDevelop spool drawings and templates for field/shop operationsMaintain consistency across all BIM drawings and documentationPerform fieldwork, documentation, and data collection as neededInterface with clients, contractors, and code officials for MEP systemsCreate WIP drawings and prefabrication plans for job sitesUtilize Trimble and Autodesk tools for field installations and fabricationQualificationsEducationDegree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or equivalent experience4-year Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferredExperience10+ years in BIM/CAD drafting/design (AutoCAD Civil 3D expertise required)5+ years of CAD experience2+ years in a supervisory or managerial roleStrong knowledge of mathematics, building construction, and field data interpretationSkillsProficiency in AutoCAD, AutoCAD MEP, BIM, REVIT, Navisworks, Blue Beam, FTP toolsExceptional verbal and written communicationHighly organized with strong attention to detailAbility to handle confidential information with discretionAnalytical thinking and problem solvingUnderstanding of construction project phases/lifecycleCapable of designing medium to large-scale projects with custom solutionsAdditional RequirementsAbility to lift up to 20 lbs occasionallyComfortable working in a professional office environmentModerate travel required between Milwaukee, Green Bay, and Madison officesAbility to work extended hours as may be required to complete workloadAbility to take on additional responsibilities as assignedValid drivers licenseAs a leading provider of mechanical and electrical construction, facilities services, and energy infrastructure, we offer employees a competitive salary and benefits package and we are always looking for individuals with the talent and skills required to contribute to our continued growth and success.
