Summer internships are typically 11 weeks in length but can vary.Job Summary MTI is seeking an Intern to perform generalaccountingduties in theGlobal Business Servicesdepartment.Position Details:Shadowing members of theaccounting department as they perform their duties.Assistingwith research, filing, data entry, and recording andmaintainingaccurateand completeaccountingrecords.Preparingaccountingreports, such as balance sheets and income statements, invoices, and other documents.Handling sensitive or confidential information with honesty and integrity.Learning how to work as part ofateam to compile and analyze data, track information, and support the company or clients.Taking onadditionaltasks or projects to learn more about accounting and office operations.OE/LeanActivelyparticipatesin the implementation of sustainable improvement processes, such as 5S, Kaizen, Daily Management Control, Standard Work and Problem SolvingQualifications and Experience:The requirements listed in the sections that follow are representative of the knowledge,skillsand/or abilities required to perform the duties of this job.
