Job Title: 2pm Put Away Job Description This position involves generating manifests to dispatch and confirming customer and stock orders. The role requires interpreting various warehouse documents to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed. It involves opening cartons, sorting merchandise, and relocating items from receiving or production areas to designated areas. Responsibilities + Verify merchandise documentation and record incoming merchandise by part and quantity. + Organize and place merchandise on racks, shelves, totes, or bins according to a pre-determined sequence. + Prepare products for distribution within facilities. + Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets, shelves, or conveyors to send to packing stations or shipping departments. + Receive, store, and distribute material, tools, equipment, and products within established guidelines. + Arrange stock parts in specified sequences for assembly by other workers. + Create and enter records for the manifest on the warehouse computer system. Work Environment The work environment is a fast-paced warehouse with narrow aisles where forklifts and hand carts rapidly navigate in safety-conscious directions. It is a non-climate controlled environment where closed-toe shoes are required. Use of cell phones or electronics is prohibited in the warehouse. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Flower Mound, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
