Job Title: Access Control Technician Location: DFW Area Type: Contract-to-Hire Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Access Control Technician to join our team. In this role, you will: + Install, service, and repair mag locks, electric strikes, door hardware, and access control systems for commercial clients. + Maintain strong customer relationships by addressing concerns and providing excellent service. + Plan and execute security system installations, including site surveys, equipment layout, and wiring plans. + Test and troubleshoot access control and CCTV systems to ensure proper functionality. + Document all installation and service activities accurately. Required Skills: + Hands-on experience with access control systems and mag locks. + Ability to install and program CCTV and alarm systems. + Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. + Excellent communication and customer service skills. + Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently. Preferred Qualifications: + Experience with a variety of CCTV and alarm brands. + Knowledge of blueprint reading and wiring layouts. + OSHA 10 certification and lift training (boom/scissor). + Active Texas Alarm Install License. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dallas, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
