ERC Tax Analyst

Description Robert Half Management Resources is looking for an experienced ERC Tax Analyst to join our client on a contract basis, focusing on tax analysis and compliance within the healthcare industry. This role will primarily involve work related to the Employee Retention Tax Credit (ERC), ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulations. Responsibilities: u2022 Conduct detailed reviews and analyses of tax data and documentation related to the Employee Retention Tax Credit. u2022 Prepare and assess amended tax returns and accompanying workpapers to ensure accuracy. u2022 Maintain organized and audit-ready files that comply with regulatory standards. u2022 Collaborate with internal finance and payroll teams, as well as external advisors, to address tax-related inquiries. u2022 Ensure compliance with all applicable requirements and regulations related to ERC. u2022 Utilize advanced Excel skills to analyze large datasets and payroll tax documentation. u2022 Provide insights and recommendations to improve processes and support project goals. u2022 Monitor changes in tax regulations and integrate updates into project workflows. Requirements u2022 Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate tax, preferably in public accounting or industry. u2022 Proven expertise in handling Employee Retention Tax Credit (ERC) projects. u2022 Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage and interpret large datasets. u2022 Proficiency in tax preparation, including corporate and individual tax returns. u2022 Familiarity with sales and use tax compliance. u2022 Experience with tax audits and documentation procedures. u2022 Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis and reporting. u2022 Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
