Data Center Electrical Engineer - Sr Consultant (Relocation or travel available) Job ID 244862 Posted 24-Oct-2025 Service line PJM Segment Role type Full-time Areas of Interest Engineering/Maintenance Location(s) Wichita Falls - Texas - United States of America We are currently seeking a Hyperscale Data Center Electrical Engineer for the Wichita Falls, TX area. This is an exciting opportunity to join a world class team supporting the high tech space. Responsibilities u25cf Review and assist technical development of electrical systems for hyperscale data centers including campus planning, general layout/arrangements, Single line diagrams, SCCAF, calculations, etc. u25cf Review and assist technical development of site primary substation. u25cf Review internal specifications and vendor compliance statements (CDE). u25cf Oversee design consultants and provide direction or escalation in accordance with established engineering standards. u25cf Peer review design consultantsu2019 deliverables including drawing sets, specifications, sequence of operations, calculations, models, etc. and provide comments & resolutions in accordance with established engineering standards. u25cf Review and advise on potential value engineering opportunities. u25cf Develop rapid conceptual sketches using CAD or BIM for visualization and spatial/dimensional validations (e.g., for conveying ideas, streamlining communication, etc.). u25cf Manage all areas of project management for multiple real estate projects. This includes planning, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout. u25cf Work directly with clients to prepare all elements of the project. This includes the scope of work, project delivery resource requirements, cost estimates & budget, work plan schedule & milestones, quality control, and risk identification. u25cf Define the project delivery resources from pre-qualified lists or through the project qualification process. Conduct complex requests for proposals, complete bid evaluations, and recommend resources to clients. u25cf Facilitate the development of a charter and integrated timeline. u25cf Ensure all functions remain on schedule and issues get resolved or escalated. u25cf Facilitate regular meetings to review project status for active and pending projects. u25cf Collaborate to develop solutions and guide the project team through implementation and completion. u25cf Apply advanced knowledge to seek and develop new, better methods for accomplishing both individual and department objectives. u25cf Showcase expertise in own job discipline and in-depth knowledge of other job disciplines within the organization function. u25cf Coach others to develop in-depth knowledge and expertise in most or all areas within the function. u25cf Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Anticipates potential objections and persuades others, often at senior levels and of divergent interest, to adopt a different point of view. u25cf Impact the achievement of customer, operational, project, or service objectives across multi-discipline teams. What Youu2019ll Need: 1. Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering is required. 2. Minimum of 5 years of experience, with at least 2 years of experience in data center projects. 3. Familiarity with Google Workspace and its related products (Sheets, Docs, Slides). 4. Experience and knowledge of working with cross-disciplinary teams, including structural, civil, IT/Telecom, security, mechanical, electrical, and architectural. 5. Solid understanding of large-scale, complex data center infrastructure. 6. Familiarity with mission critical infrastructure. 7. Experience coordinating scope with multiple discipline trades (Architecture, telecom, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and structural) 8. Must be able to work independently with little or no supervision. Experience with data center projects inside and outside of the US.
