Electrical Engineer

Job Title: Electrical Engineer Work Shift: 8:00 AM u2013 5:30 PM (9/80A Schedule) Overview Our client is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to research, develop, design, and test electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks. This role involves designing electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and defense applications. Key Responsibilities + Collaborate within the Vehicle Engineering IPT team to support electrical wiring design needs. + Assist manufacturing with wiring integration and route cable/wiring harnesses in a 3D environment following MIL-W-5088 or AS50881. + Design and release cable/wiring installation packages. + Work closely with multi-disciplinary engineering teams to identify and implement solutions quickly and efficiently. + Provide technical support throughout the design and integration process. Basic Qualifications + Education & Experience:Bacheloru2019s degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) with 4u20135 years of experience in electrical cable/wiring harness routing on military and/or commercial aircraft OR + Masteru2019s degree in STEM with 2 years of relevant experience. + Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret or Top-Secret Clearance and Program Special Access (not required to start). + Self-starter with minimal supervision required. + Strong oral and written communication skills. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, MS Project, Visio). + Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Preferred Qualifications + Advanced STEM degree. + Experience with solid modeling design tools such as NX (Siemens), Teamcenter Enterprise (TcE), CATIA, or SolidWorks. + Demonstrated independent creative thinking and problem-solving capabilities. + Experience integrating components into larger systems. + Project management experience including scheduling and technical performance tracking. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Melbourne, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
