Description - 1-3+ Years as a Quality Technician/Inspection role - Willing to take on more Entry Level candidates and train - Experienced w/ Calipers, Micrometers, Gauges - Computer Skills: Basic Data Input, Emails - Able to Stand, Walk, Lift (Products from 5-25lbs) for the majority of day Plus Haves: - PPAP Experience - ISO-9001 Experience Day-to-Day: Audits of Production Line - Measurement of production to ensure within compliance - Walking around majority of day - Working with Engineering to confirm product issues and assign case - Send professional emails across teams, inputting measurement data into Excel Additional Skills & Qualifications Quality Technician • Documenting anything found that doesn't meet our high quality standards and helping contain and action of these issues in a timely manner. • Helping create or update documentation. • Identifying and leading efforts to improve manufacturing processes • Collaborating with Engineering to test and inspect products • Evaluating and processing Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) documentation Key Qualifications: • 1-2 years of related Quality or Manufacturing experience • Ability to read and interpret blueprints • Ability to use standard measurement equipment and tools ie; Micrometers, Gauges, Calipers • Basic computer skills (e.g. Excel, Word, Outlook) Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Streamwood, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
