Peak Performers is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to provide high-level support to its leadership team in Albany, NY. This role is ideal for a dependable, detail-oriented professional comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced government environment. Who Youu2019ll Be Working With In this role, youu2019ll support a collaborative and mission-driven leadership team that plays a key role in statewide emergency medical services initiatives. You'll be working directly with a seasoned leader who values organization, discretion, and reliability. The team is fast-paced but supportive, and your contributions will directly support public health programs that serve New Yorkers across the state. Major Duties + Oversee and manage division file systems (digital and paper), including retention schedules and confidential materials + Schedule meetings with internal and external stakeholders + Organize, track, and analyze incoming communications and files + Manage executive calendars and prioritize meeting requests + Prepare travel documentation and enter travel in the State Financial System (SFS) + Track communications deadlines and organize materials for review + Run reports across various systems as needed + Submit required state forms and administrative paperwork + Support space management and other ongoing projects within the division Required Qualifications + Minimum 2 years of experience in an office environment performing administrative duties + High School Diploma or equivalent + Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, SharePoint) + Ability to manage multiple tasks, work independently, and adapt to shifting priorities + Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills + Comfort working with confidential material and speaking on the phone + Familiarity with electronic databases and digital file management Preferred Qualifications + Experience supporting senior or executive-level leadership in government or healthcare + Experience coordinating travel and multi-agency meetings + Strong written communication skills for creating reports and correspondence + Experience handling electronic communications and organizing both paper and digital files Exciting Opportunity Details + Compensation Rate : $21.00/hour + Project Term: 1 year (Ongoing assignment with no defined end date) + Schedule: 37.5 hours/week, Monday to Friday + Flexible start times between 7:30 AM and 9:00 AM + Set schedule expected; changes require manager approval + Location: Onsite in Albany, NY + Parking: Free parking available; location is accessible by public transit + Equipment: All equipment provided + Badge Fee: $13 badge required (reimbursable; cashieru2019s check needed during first + Before hiring, candidates must:Confirm highest level of education completed & Provide a full 5-year work history Applicants for employment with Peak Performers must possess work authorization that does not require sponsorship for a visa now or in the future.
