Material Handler

Job Title: Material HandlerLocation: Whitsett, NCPay Rate: $15.25/hourShift: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM-3:00 PM (some overtime may be required) Job Description We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team in Whitsett, NC. This role is critical to maintaining efficient warehouse operations by supporting the movement, handling, and organization of materials, ensuring orders are processed accurately and on time. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates flexibility, and works effectively as part of a team. Key Responsibilities Work in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines, ensuring materials and orders are processed efficiently.Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality; reliable transportation is required.Lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly and perform other physical tasks such as standing, walking, sitting, grasping, gripping, reaching, pulling, pushing, bending, squatting, kneeling, and balancing throughout the shift.Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure smooth warehouse operations.Follow proper procedures for packaging, labeling, and preparing materials or orders for shipment.Be available to work overtime as needed to support business demands.Perform all other duties as assigned by management, including tasks directed by Supervisors and Leads. Basic Computer Skills Required Ability to turn on and operate a computer and navigate basic programs.General understanding of computer components (keyboard, palmrest, screen/LCD, etc.).Understand the differences between laptops, tablets, and desktops.Ability to use computers and basic software to track inventory and process orders. Qualifications Basic reading, writing, and math skills.Strong attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and manual handling of materials.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.Flexible and willing to adapt to changing priorities and overtime needs.
