Your Responsibilities:Greet customers promptly and pleasantlyCommunicates with customers to determine the reason for the visit and the nature of the mechanical problem and/or scheduled maintenancePerform vehicle walk around with customer to determine needed repairs.Review vehicle maintenance history and make recommendationsProvide the customer with available options for repairs while explaining the benefits of timely repairsSell recommended service work to customers based upon mechanics diagnosisProvide the customer with a written cost estimate of repairs and an estimated time needed for repairsInform dispatcher of incoming work and ensure customer’s needs are understood by the technicianFollow up with technicians and the parts department on the progress of repairs to ensure timely completion of workNotify customers on the status of their vehicle, based on how the customer wants to be informed. (Minimum of 2x per day)Verify warranty and service contract coverage and administer claims for qualifying repairsFollow up with customers to ensure customer satisfactionReview completed work and charges with the customer and/or send a digital invoice for online payment.Daily collaboration with the BDC team including prompt response to customer inquiriesQualifications:High School Diploma or equivalentValid Driver’s LicensePrevious customer service experience preferred but not requiredMust be organized, reliable, and able to work in a fast-paced environmentFor more information on what its like to work at Van Horn visit: !Monday - Friday: 7AM - 5PMOne Saturday a month: 8AM - 12PM
