Environmental Science Intern

SCS Engineers is looking for a summer 2026 intern for our Coconut Creek, FL office. This opportunity offers valuable hands-on experience in both technical and environmental business operations through a diverse range of client projects while giving you the chance to explore the beginnings of your own career path.As an intern, you’ll work alongside experienced professionals on projects centered around various aspects of site inspections and site history review, geographic information systems (GIS), soil and groundwater investigation/remediation, brownfield redevelopment, site development, and other projects. You will typically work 40 hours per week, dependent upon office workload.You will contribute to our projects by assisting SCS project teams with the following tasks:Soil, groundwater, and vapor investigation/remediation samplingPhase I Environmental Site InspectionsLaboratory data management and reviewReporting and calculation preparationDesign assistanceCurrently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in geology, hydrogeology, soil science, environmental science, environmental or geological engineering and graduating by June 2028 required.
