Youth Sports Associate - Lincoln County Family YMCA

Under the general supervision of the Coordinator/Director, in cooperation with other YMCA staff, and consistent with the Christian mission of the YMCA, the Youth Sports Official is responsible for enforcement of official league rules during all scheduled games.Maintain atmosphere consistent with the YMCA Christian Mission during games.Diffuse conflict situations involving parents, coaches and players.Communicate any inappropriate behavior to Sports Specialist and/or Program Director.Enforce rules for particular sport.Be in support of the YMCA’s Christian mission and Youth Sports philosophyHave sufficient knowledge of rules for the specific sport being officiatedMust be enthusiasticAble to develop positive relationships with coaches, children and parentsEmployee Assistance ProgramRetirement ContributionOUR YMCA CULTURE:Our mission and core values are brought to life by our culture.
