Kimley-Horn has an opportunity for a motivated Senior Project Manager to expand and lead our Power Delivery practice in Philadelphia.The successful candidate will lead a practice specializing in Power Delivery (transmission, substation, and/or power studies) engineering services.This individual will have an entrepreneurial spirit and create a vision for growth for a Power Delivery practice while growing their own projects, clients, and team around them.Coordinate or direct development, energy assessment, engineering, or construction activities to ensure that the project needs and objectives are met.Leadership responsibilities include:Operating with integrity and sound business principlesProviding vision, business planning, and strategyEstablishing goalsBuilding and maintaining positive client relationshipsHaving open communication with your partners and teamOur Project Managers/Practice Builders manage their projects profitably, transition work to qualified staff, grow and mentor staff, and act as positive leaders and mentors.The successful candidate will be given a great deal of autonomy to lead, direct, and grow their business.With success, this individual will enjoy the rewards of an impressive bonus program with the potential to advance to ownership.8+ years of relevant experience managing Power Delivery and Substation projectsFamiliar with the relevant standards, regulations, and best practices for utilities and energy providersBusiness development and marketing experience including writing proposals, scopes of work, and budgeting for projected workAbility to effectively communicate positively at all levels of the organizationAbility to manage & mentor staff, and direct resources effectively in a positive mannerDemonstrated ability to manage projects profitablyAt Kimley-Horn, we do things differently.
