Acuren Inspection is now hiring hard working, dependable Painter to work on a project basis to start as soon as possible.The Technician is responsible for carrying out duties and responsibilities in a safe and timely manner as assigned by the Supervisor.KEY TASKS & GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Have a comprehensive knowledge Painting/BlastingAssist other technicians as requiredPerform specific job functions as they relate to work ordersEnsure operational safety of all equipmentOther work duties as assigned.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: Knowledge of coating materials, application techniques, and curing processesExperience with paint and industrial equipmentExperience using a wet paint gun, hand and power tools, and other painting equipmentThe ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and drawings The ability to read and use coating thickness gages, surface profile gages, dew point meters, soluble salt testers, and hardness or ultrasonic thickness gagesEDUCATION: Previous pipeline experience preferred NCCER Painter certification a plus NACE certification a plus Competitive salaryMedical, dental, vision, and supplemental insurance401K PlanPaid HolidaysPaid Time OffWORKING CONDITIONS: Outside environment with continuous physical effort, exposure to 5-7 elements/conditions, moderate mental effort, and occasional requests for assistance.
