Drive behavior-based safety culture to achieve accident-prevention and loss mitigation atE2 Optics customer locations.Safety is E2 Optics' number one Core Value. All employees are expected to follow safe work practices, as well as adhere to company and client worksite safety policies and proceduresProvides safety and health training, instruction, and coaching to ensure compliance with applicable occupational safety and health regulationsAssists the Safety Manager with incident/accident investigations, documentation, problem-solving, and implementation of countermeasuresConducts and/or participates in safety audits to review practices and records, ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety programs and OSHA regulationsTracks, trends, and drives structured problem-solving for recurring safety issues that hinder achievement of performance targetsThis position is generally expected to require minimal overnight travel (5%). The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk or hear, use hands, stoop, kneel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The employee must regularly carry and climb ladders to 20 feet. Must be able to operate equipment such as scissor lifts, telehandlers, boom lifts, and UTVs (buggies) if required to do so. The employee may also be required to work in tight, confined spaces.
