The Regional Water Resources Leader is responsible for developing, growing, and leading the Albuquerque Water Resources practice. This senior-level role combines technical expertise in water resources engineering with practice-building, team leadership, and client development. The leader will represent the firm to clients, partners, and industry organizations while ensuring excellence in project delivery and strategic growth. Whether you are a recent graduate with untapped potential or a professional with provenexperience, we invite you to discover a career path designed for you. Parkhill is one of the largest architectural and engineering firms in the Southwestwith 14 officeslocatedthroughout Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma.Develop, grow, and lead the Albuquerque Water Resources practice, building expertise in hydrology, hydraulics, conveyance, storage, groundwater, and water/wastewater treatmentPartner with Parkhill’s Marketing and Business Development teams to create and execute a regional business development plan aligned with the Civil Engineering Division strategyBuild and maintain long-term relationships with clients, partners, and industry leadersRepresent the firm as a technical expert in client meetings, interviews, and industry forumsCollaborate across office locations to leverage Parkhill’s collective water resources expertiseMentor staff, ensuring consistent application of Parkhill’s keystone habits and technical excellenceServe as Senior Project Manager or Project Principal on major water resources projects, providing technical oversightBachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering from an accredited universityLicensed Professional Civil Engineer (PE) in New MexicoMinimum of 10 years of progressive experience in Water Resources and/or water/wastewater treatmentDetailed understanding of engineering project management methos with the ability to plan a project from start to finish, considering time, cost, and resourcesExperience working with state, regional, and/pr public agencies - municipalities, water districts, river authorities, counties, and/or state agenciesExpert level knowledge of environmental regulations and workplace safety regulationsProven success in practice growth, client development, and business acquisitionStrong technical expertise in hydrology, hydraulics, drainage, water/wastewater, and related civil engineering solutionsExcellent analytical skills to evaluate their observations to design a system that will withstand the elements on the installation site.Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship management skillsBenefits and PerksWe offer a comprehensive benefits program that supports the whole person.
