The Regional Director of Education provides leadership of activities supporting clinical practices, professional development, patient care, and clinical initiative outcomes for a designated region. Leads change efforts in areas of benchmarking, patient safety, and clinical best practices to support achievement of high-quality nursing care and patient outcomes. Provides oversight of Pathway to Excellence/Magnet designation according to the American Nurses Credentialing Center requirements. Oversees and assures compliance as a designated State Board of Nursing continuing nursing education provider. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING1. Current and valid state license as a Registered Nurse.2. Current BLS (ARC/AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.3. Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)-(ARC/AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.4. Minimum of 5 years as a healthcare leader.5. Minimum of 2 years of previous educational experience preferred.6. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.7. Master of Science in Nursing preferred.8. Nurse Professional Development certification preferred9. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $89,000 to $125,000 on an annualized basis.
