We are looking for a qualified System Integration Engineer to join our team. This role will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining integrations solutions across various software and hardware platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.In this role, you will perform the following tasks:Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, system services, application software and system management tools for Windows Systems and Servers, both natively and within virtual machinesWork with team to monitor and test applications, virtual machines, and systems to identify issues with installation and performance.Troubleshoot Information Technology (IT) Systems to diagnose and suggest/implement potential solutions.Support physical hardware installation of IT computing equipment and cabling at both local and remote sites.Meet your Recruiter!To be Successful in this role, you will have:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or other STEM related fields and 5 years’ experience, master’s degree with 3 years of experience or 9 years in lieu of degreeExperience with Windows Installations and DeploymentsExperience with PowerShell scriptingExperience with virtualization technologies, preferably HyperVNetworking knowledge (OSI Network Layers, TCP/IP, DHCP)US Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security ClearanceAbility to work on site at Middletown RI.Up to 10% travel may be required.This position is contingent upon your ability to obtain and maintain your Secret clearance post-employment.Additional desired experience and skills:Active Security ClearanceCurrent IAT Level I CertificationsNetwork+Security+Experience with Cisco switch/router configuration development and deploymentExperience with System Build Automation Tools Windows Deployment Server (WDS) and Windows Server Update Services (WSUS)Computer/Electronics Hardware knowledgeConfiguration management experience with both centralized and distributed version control systems (e.g., SVN and Git)If you are interested in supporting and working with our military and sailors, and an enthusiastic Serco team, then submit your application now for immediate consideration - it only takes minutes to apply and could change your career!Serco Inc.
