The Referral Coordinator assumes the responsibility for electronic medical records maintenance according to the departmental guidelines and ensures follow-up for referral appointments through communication with medical providers and BRCHS patients.High school diploma or equivalent required. Licensed Practical Nurse or Medical Assistant with primary care/ambulatory care clinical experience preferred. Bilingual - Spanish language, preferred. Familiarity with medical office procedures and terminology required. Experience with electronic medical record systems and/or previous referral coordination preferred.
