The intern will have the opportunity to work directly with the Accounting Senior Managers and Vice Presidents in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. This is a high visibility, technically adept, and experienced team, creating a unique internship opportunity.Candidates will be involved in a variety of activities, including but not limited to:Shadowing accounting colleagues on daily tasks and monthly close tasks, with the goal of performing daily tasksAssist the regulatory accounting group with various projectsPerforming accounting and regulatory requirements research under U.S. GAAP, SEC regulations and other regulatory agencies, as neededPreparing technical accounting memos for transactionsAssist with special projects for management and other financial functions within the department, as necessaryAssist with footnote and financial statement documentation preparation to support the quarterly form 10-Q financial statement processOpportunity to shadow another department of choosingBasic Qualifications:Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Analytics, Economics or other applicable degreeProficient in Microsoft Excel and WordStrong communications and organizational skillsAbility to collaborate and work in a team environmentStoneXEssentialQualificationsAbility tomaintainconfidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive information with tact and discretionSoundverbal/written communication abilitiesEffective interpersonal skillsSense of urgencyHonesty,curiosity, andtenacityStrong work ethic and emphasis on attention to detailTheconfidence to failEarly Careers RequirementsPursuing a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in a relevant program and graduating between December 2026and August 2027 (entering penultimate year of university)Available for a June 2026start date for a 10-week programProficiencywith Microsoft Office suite(preferably Excel)Mustbe authorized towork in the US for any employerHiring Salary Range $20.00-$40.00 per hour (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity and alignment with market data.)
