Payroll Specialist

Description We are looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team in Saint Helena, California. This role involves managing payroll operations for a workforce of 135 employees and ensuring accuracy in a biweekly payroll cycle. As this is a long-term contract position, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the consistent and smooth functioning of our payroll processes. Responsibilities: u2022 Process full-cycle payroll for a biweekly schedule, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards. u2022 Handle multi-state payroll operations and address any discrepancies or issues promptly. u2022 Utilize ADP Workforce Now to manage payroll tasks efficiently and maintain accurate employee records. u2022 Collaborate with team members to streamline payroll processes and ensure deadlines are consistently met. u2022 Provide support for payroll-related inquiries and resolve employee concerns with professionalism. u2022 Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal payroll regulations. u2022 Prepare and submit necessary payroll reports to management and other stakeholders. u2022 Assist in audits and reviews related to payroll operations. u2022 Ensure the confidentiality and security of payroll data at all times. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in full-cycle payroll processing. u2022 Familiarity with managing payroll for a multi-state workforce. u2022 Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now software. u2022 Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance requirements. u2022 Experience handling payroll for a workforce of 500 or more employees. u2022 Excellent organizational and time-management skills. u2022 Ability to analyze and resolve payroll-related issues effectively. u2022 Strong communication skills for interacting with team members and employees.
