The Shipping & Receiving Clerk- 2nd Shift role offers a full time work week of 40 hours and potential overtime. Hours: 1:45pm-10:15pm. What youu2019ll do: Eatonu2019s CPS DCPD division is currently seeking a Receiving Clerk - 2nd Shift. We are a leader in the design and production of critical power distribution products for many specific segments. The Receiving Clerk- 2nd Shift role offers a full time work week of 40 hours and potential overtime. Hours: 1:45pm-10:15pm. Full Benefits and 401k plan is offered to you day one of employment. The hourly rate for this position is $24.44 per hour. $1.00 shift differential. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. The Receiving Clerk is responsible for maintain inventory counts and quality control procedures of incoming and outgoing product shipments. Support and initiate actions with management to ensure that personnel comply to the companyu2019s policies and performance/productivity levels. In this function you will: u2022 Responsible for systematic receiving control of plant materials u2022 Responsible for maintaining receipts of purchase orders, ISOs, interfacility transfers. u2022 Responsible for enforcing hot list communications u2022 Ability to identify received items and verify counts u2022 Ability to identify vendor parts u2022 Enforce safety policies for truck drivers entering the facility u2022 Ownership of past due receiving logs and vendor service logs u2022 Ability to perform root cause analysis of incorrect receipts and problematic shipments. u2022 Quarantine damaged and unidentified products. u2022 Ability to compare packing slips, Purchase orders, Bill of Lading u2022 Ability to understand the effects of received goods in the inventory system u2022 Ability perform cycle counting as needed u2022 Maintaining document control for packing slips and BOLs u2022 Responsible for delivery of non-production related material u2022 Ability to coordinate with team lead, inventory workers, supply chain, and material handlers to solve various issues. u2022 Maintain the labeling of product through the plant u2022 Ability to work cross functional across plants u2022 Research lost material transactional history and escalate as needed u2022 Develop or improve upon receiving procedures. Qualifications: Required (Basic) Qualifications: u2022 High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution u2022 Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without out company sponsorship, now or in the future u2022 No relocation is being offered for this role. All candidates considered must live within 50 miles of the Santa Ana, CA location.
