Accounting Manager

Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join our client's team on a contract basis. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can oversee financial operations, ensure accuracy in reporting, and contribute to the organizationu2019s overall financial health. The ideal candidate will have expertise in general ledger management, account reconciliations, and month-end close processes. Responsibilities: u2022 Oversee and manage the month-end close process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. u2022 Review and analyze expenses, invoices, and interest income to maintain financial accuracy. u2022 Perform detailed reconciliations of accounts to ensure proper documentation and alignment. u2022 Manage journal entries and adjustments to maintain integrity in financial records. u2022 Utilize QuickBooks to organize and process financial data efficiently. u2022 Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring compliance with applicable standards. u2022 Collaborate with relevant teams to address discrepancies and optimize accounting processes. u2022 Maintain detailed documentation of accounting activities for auditing and reporting purposes. u2022 Monitor financial transactions and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in accounting or financial management roles. u2022 Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software. u2022 Strong knowledge of general ledger management and account reconciliation. u2022 Expertise in month-end close processes and journal entry preparation. u2022 Ability to analyze financial data with attention to detail and accuracy. u2022 Excellent organizational and communication skills. u2022 Familiarity with preparing and reviewing financial statements. u2022 Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
