Maintenance Mechanic

Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic Job Description The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and providing preventive maintenance on various equipment, machines, and facilities as needed within a food processing environment. Responsibilities + Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain basic industrial electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems. + Perform repairs as needed and report equipment malfunction or breakdown to a supervisor if unable to correct. + Ensure compliance with lockout/tagout safety procedures during service and repair, and use personal protective equipment as required. + Comply with rules and regulations set forth in the employee handbook, safety manual, and GMP booklet. Essential Skills + Experience in troubleshooting, electrical, and mechanical repairs. + Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and preventive maintenance. + Ability to read blueprints and schematics. + Proficiency in PLC and electrical troubleshooting. + Experience with food processing machines, steam machines, and water machines. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in a food processing or food production environment. + Ability to use hand tools effectively. Why Work Here?
