Type: Four - month contract, opportunity for extension or fulltime offer Schedule: Mon, Wed, Thurs 9am to 5pm, Tues 11am to 7pm, Fri 8am to 4pm, 2 Saturdays or Sundays per month Pay: $19.07 Per hour Specialty: Opthalmology Responsibilities of the Patient Care Coordinator: u2022 Greets patients, family members and guests with a friendly smile u2022 Assists patients with signing in and completing registration u2022 Enters and scans patients demographic and insurance information into Epic u2022 Verifies insurance eligibility and benefit information; informs patients of insurance benefits u2022 Collects co-payments and patient balances u2022 Answers incoming phone calls in a courteous and prompt manner; directs calls and takes messages u2022 Assists physician and clinical staff by coordinating follow up care for patients; schedules referral appointments for patients and obtains authorization for diagnostic testing u2022 Sends patient records to primary care physician u2022 Assists with other tasks as assigned Qualifications for the Patient Care Coordinator: u00b7 High school education or equivalent experience u00b7 Customer service experience and solid computer skills u00b7 Medical office experience; Urgent Care experience u00b7 Knowledge of insurance carriers and managed care plans u00b7 EPIC experience preferred but not required Why work for Adecco? + Weekly Pay + 401(k) Plan + Skills Training + Excellent medical, dental, and vision benefits Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
