We want your knowledge and expertise Job Summary and Qualifications As a Burn Unit Registered Nurse (RN), youu2019ll play a vital role in the healing journey of patients with a variety of burn injuries. With stays ranging from days to weeks, youu2019ll build meaningful relationships and witness powerful healing journeys. Your responsibilities will include: + Assessing patient condition and environment to recognize changes, manage pain, and ensure safety throughout their care journey + Performing expert procedures and medication administration u2013 including pain relief and fluid therapy u2013 delivering advanced wound care and dressing changes, monitoring responses and acting swiftly to promote healing and comfort + Educating and supporting patients and families with compassion and clarity to confidently navigate recovery and make informed decisions + Collaborating with a dedicated multidisciplinary team to provide seamless, patient-centered care tailored to each individualu2019s needs What qualifications you will need: + Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date + (RN) Registered Nurse + Registered Nurse Diploma, or Associate Degree HCA Florida Blake Hospital is a 380+ bed hospital located in Bradenton, FL. We have a thirteen acre campus by the Gulf Coast beaches. We are the only state-designated Level II trauma center in Manatee, Sarasota and DeSoto Counties. Our services include 24-hour emergency care, open-heart surgery, burn care, cancer care, joint replacement and inpatient rehabilitation.
