Schedule: Full Time Shift : Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm Location: Hybrid, Maitland, FL The role you'll contribute: Responsible for providing a wide range of general medical management services to improve clinical cost, utilization, coding, documentation, quality, and member service performance. This position interacts with practices, individual physicians within the networks, payer leadership, customers, and internal and external partners to facilitate this work. Additionally, this role has primary responsibility for credentialing, quality, and utilization management programs. In addition, this position participates in various committees and the strategic planning and budgeting process. Ensures continuous improvement and optimization of medical management services. The value you'll bring to the team: + Communicates clinical cost, utilization, appropriate coding and documentation, quality, and member service opportunity studies and their recommendations to appropriate stakeholders. + Leads efforts to develop and implement systems and processes to improve the clinical cost, utilization, appropriate coding and documentation, quality, and member service outcomes. + Leads the peer review program and facilitates interaction with network providers regarding corrective action plans. + Oversees credentialing operations, including reviewing applications and participating in committee meetings. + Acts as a liaison for clinical issues between network providers and leadership. + Educates network practices and physicians on performance improvement and best practices. The expertise and experience you'll need to succeed: Minimum qualifications: + Doctorate degree + 5 years of clinical experience + American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) + Medical Doctor (MD) Preferred qualifications: + Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
