Employer Name: CUNY Hunter College Administrative Executive Coordinator - School of Nursing (aHEO) GENERAL DUTIES Provides administrative support to a Campus or University Executive. Coordinates office operations such as meetings, communications, events, and reports. Maintains extensive files and records for the unit. Maintains accurate calendars, schedules, and key dates. Collects data for, prepares, and distributes reports and presentations using appropriate technology. Runs basic system queries and reports to provide data. Updates office databases, lists, and files to ensure completeness and accuracy; maintains current information on department web site(s), manuals, and other materials. Provides clear communications on the Executive's behalf both within and outside the unit. May perform related duties as assigned; may participate in special projects and efforts to improve unit effectiveness. Job Title Name: Administrative Executive Coordinator CONTRACT TITLE Assistant to HEO FLSA Non-exempt CAMPUS SPECIFIC INFORMATION The Administrative Executive Coordinator (Executive Assistant) serves as primary administrative support for the Dean of the Hunter-Bellevue School of Nursing and works on confidential, time-sensitive assignments and projects in a fast-paced office environment. The Executive Coordinator (Executive Assistant) engages with internal and external constituents, handles sensitive communications and situations in a professional, cordial manner; is proficient in technology; follows policies and procedures; maintains accurate calendars, schedules, databases, records and files; collects data, disseminates information, prepares reports and presentations; and prioritizes items that require the Dean?s immediate attention. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's Degree required. OTHER QUALIFICATIONS Previous project planning experience and/or work with a College/School program is desirable. Two years of related experience is beneficial. Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving skills are required. Proficiency and competency in database management, Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), and other relevant systems/software are required. The successful candidate must be detail oriented, able to multitask, and use discretion when handling confidential information; have good customer service talent; exhibit independent initiative and good judgment; and work collaboratively with administrators, staff, faculty, and students. COMPENSATION Commensurate with experience ($82,297- $94,409). BENEFITS CUNY offers a comprehensive benefits package to employees and eligible dependents based on job title and classification.
