For more information, visit SolomonEdwardsPosition Summary:We are seeking an HMDA/CRA Compliance Consultant to join a leading U.S.-based financial institution focused on retail banking and community investment. This consultant will play a critical role in supporting Q4 regulatory reporting and establishing sustainable processes for long-term compliance with HMDA, CRA, and FHOB loan programs.Essential Duties:u00b7 Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for CRA reporting.u00b7 Establish a repeatable quarterly reporting process including controls, documentation, and training materials.u00b7 Lead and execute CRA reporting for Q4, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.u00b7 Partner with existing HMDA resources to support Q4 reporting.u00b7 Develop a sustainable, documented HMDA process, including process maps, data validation procedures, and staff training.u00b7 Recommend process improvements and technology enhancements where applicable.u00b7 Design a program to identify, flag, test, and report on FHOB loans (to be initiated in Q1).u00b7 Document requirements and develop testing and reporting templates for future use.u00b7 Create clear guidance and training materials to enable the internal team to manage ongoing reporting activities independently.u00b7 Facilitate knowledge transfer sessions for compliance and operations staff.Qualifications:u00b7 Bacheloru2019s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.u00b7 Minimum 7 yearsu2019 experience in regulatory compliance or risk within banking/financial services.u00b7 Demonstrated expertise in CRA and HMDA regulatory frameworks and data integrity.u00b7 Experience creating process documentation and compliance training programs.u00b7 Familiarity with FHOB or FHLB loan programs preferred.Skills and Job-Specific Competencies:u00b7 Strong understanding of CRA/HMDA compliance regulations.u00b7 Proficiency in data validation, regulatory submission workflows.u00b7 Excellent project management and communication skills.u00b7 Ability to work independently in a fully remote consulting environment.u00b7 Strong stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration skills.Travel Requirements: No travel will be required, unless at the client's discretion. As such, we take a comprehensive approach when determining compensation for our roles. The compensation for this specific role is based on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to education, licensure and certifications, location, experience, and training.
