P/T Church Office Administrator Location: Massapequa Park, NY Hours: 8 hours each week (in person, Monday & Wednesday (9:00 AM to 1:00 PM)) Reports to: Lead Pastor Position Summary: Massapequa Park Church of the Nazarene is seeking a detail-orientated and friendly part-time Office Administrator to support the day to day operations of our church office. This role helps ensure effective communication, organized records and smooth administrative processes that support the ministry and mission of the organization. Key Responsibilities: * Manage church communications including: - Front Desk e-mail box and phone coverage - Weekly bulletin preparation and distribution: (Mailchimp), print copies - Birthday and anniversary cards and other correspondence. * Maintain and organize physical and digital records. - Directory Data entry in Planning Center - Contracts, agreements, permits and other correspondence. * Purchase office supplies and manage inventory. * Process utility payments * Coordinate with the Treasurer and volunteer teams to reconcile weekly donations. Qualifications: * High School Diploma * 1-2 years of office Administration experience (church or faith based setting preferred. * Strong organization and communication skills * Comfortable using e-mail, Microsoft Office /Google Workspace and church management tools (e.g. Planning Center, Mailchimp.)
