Assistant General Manager (Retail) - Brentwood

Pool and Spa Depot is looking to add an Assistant General Manager to our Brentwood, TN, retail store. The AGM will have the ability to manage all store operations in the absence of the Retail Store Manager. The AGM must be able to drive profitable sales in a fast paced retail environment. The AGM must ensure all customer touchpoints are at a 5 Star level creating a positive environment for customers. This includes our retail business of chemicals, pool and spa supplies and equipment, service related business or new Big Ticket sales for backyard designed products like pools, hot tubs, saunas and more! Job duties include, but are not limited to: Deliver sales results to meet or exceed sales goals.Lead by example on the sales floor with excellent customer service and personal sales results. Recruit and develop top talent for open store positions. Lead generation and detailed follow up.Assistant manager by coordinating with service, install, delivery and construction to ensure streamlined operations and productivity on building and developing products. Assistant manager by controlling & improving variable metrics, including revenue, margins, expense control, labor & productivity. Qualifications:Two years related experience or equivalent (Retail experience is required)Knowledge of retail operationsDemonstrated proficiency in supervising and motivating subordinatesCommitment to excellence and high standards.Excellent written oral and communication skillsAbility to manage priorities and workflowVersatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasmExcellent customer service skillsGood judgement with the ability to make timely and sound decisionsProfessional appearance and demeanorAbility to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds*We offer a competitive benefits plan including health insurance.
