MEP/PEP Client Service Manager

JOB SUMMARYBuilds and maintains the relationships of qualified defined contribution retirement plans utilizing our Recordkeeping platform. Acts as a point of contact for assigned relationships, resolves team escalations, documents procedures and identifies areas for process improvement.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Provides client assistance and customer service on day to day issues with clients by replying via both oral and written communicationActs in a proactive manner with assigned clients and builds relationships to ensure retentionWorks with plan sponsors, brokers, registered investment advisors, Trust companies and other third-party vendors, including auditors to reply to requests for specialized reports, communicate fund actions, consult on client inquiries and research/resolve issuesWorks under pressure in a very fast paced environmentFocuses on learning in everyday activities and eventsCoordinate with and openly exchange knowledge with colleaguesRegular, reliable, and punctual attendanceMANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES (NONE)REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONSAt least 3+ years of experience working in a related position in the retirement services sectorProven relationship management experienceDemonstrated project management skillsSolid MS Office skills to include ExcelPREFERRED (BUT NOT REQUIRED) EDUCATION OR SKILLS FOR THIS ROLE AREBachelor’s degree in a business-related field or industry experienceDST experiencePROFICIENCIESAbility to work unsupervisedDiplomaticCreative Problem SolverIntegrityDetailed ThinkerResourcefulTeam PlayerSound JudgmentResults OrientedPersonal CredibilityWritten and Oral Communication SkillsTRAVEL: Up to 10%OTHER DUTIESPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or tasks that are required of the employee for this job.
