Professional Surveyor and Mapper

Job Tittle: Professional Surveyor and Mapper (PSM) Duration: Full Time Location: Deerfield Beach, FL 33442 Job Description: * We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Professional Surveyor and Mapper to oversee and manage a variety of projects in the South and Central Florida areas. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in land surveying (both field and office), excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage large scale projects; field crews and office staff efficiently. Responsibilities: * Perform additional field duties or assist with utility locating as assigned. * Coordinate daily scheduling of field survey crews and office support staff. * Serve as the primary liaison between survey managers, project managers, clients, and field crews. * Review work orders, proposals, and project requirements to ensure successful outcomes. * Track project timelines and ensure timely delivery of survey services. * Perform field and office calculations. * Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during the course of survey operations. * Assist with drafting task orders and organizing project files. * Certify surveys as required. Qualifications: * Strong knowledge of survey terminology, processes, and documentation. * Excellent organizational and multitasking skills. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Trimble Business Center. * Ability to communicate effectively with clients, field staff, and internal teams. * Ability to read and interpret utility maps, plans, and field markings. * Physically able to work outdoors in varying conditions and lift up to 50 lbs. Requirements: * Current Florida Surveyor and Mappers License * Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Professional Surveyor and Mapper * Must be Authorized to Work in the U.S. * Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and the ability to travel to job sites. * High school diploma or GED required. * Fluent in English.
