Azure Developer - SQL

Summary: This position is with the Inventory Solutions Technology team developing back-end data ingestion, storage, and outbound communications for the Vehicle Locator Plus application. This position would help support popular dealer applications and support several exciting client initiatives. The Inventory Solutions team is at the center of it all and the developer in this position will be a critical contributor to high visibility solutions. Essential Job Functions: Development and Maintenance of Azure data ingestion, storage, and distribution Execution and support for Python code development Execution and support for use of Parkay file creation and management Participation and Oversee Code Reviews Analyze problem areas and design and implement system improvements. Analyze documents, files and reports related to workflow Design, program, test, implement and document program logic Prepare test data and analyze program performance during testing Ability to meet tight deadlines Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously Other Responsibilities: Working knowledge and experience with Azure DevOps Working knowledge and experience with Azure Containers Working knowledge and experience with Azure Data Factory Working knowledge and experience with Azure Databricks Working knowledge and experience with Azure Communication Services Experience programming against SQL Server and MySQL database backends Effective communicator at the team level with verbal and written communication Detail oriented with good time management, multitasking and flexibility skills TFS Release Management Understanding of SQL Server database(s) including tables, views, stored procedures, etc. Excellent programming and problem-solving skills with an aptitude to learn & apply new technology skills Working knowledge and database management of MS SQL Server and a solid grasp of relational database concepts Strong in Data Analysis Knowledge of Entity Framework Strong Back-end technologies knowledge: Relational databases, SQL & JDBC Communication and thought leadership are essential for this project as the team will be eliciting requirements and prototyping early in the project delivery and working directly with the business decision makers Ability to work flexible hours to support application launch and production outages if necessary Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements: • Should have Bachelor's degree, preferably in a technology related discipline • Candidates without degrees will need to have a proven track record Experience: • + years in all applicable technologies
