You’ll do this by performing a variety of duties, including, but not limited to:Perform a variety of cleaning tasks such as dust and polishes furniture; stock supplies; clean wash basins, tubs, and commodes; empty wastepaper baskets in resident, employee, and client areas.Perform dry and wet mopping of floors and operate vacuums, extractors and pressure washers, and washers and dryers.Collect and dispose of garbage in designated areas and manage pletes and/or assists with set up and tear down for special functions as needed.Maintain equipment in accordance with manufacturer recommendations.Qualifications/Requirements:A Valid PA Driver’s LicenseAbility to read, write, and speak the English language fluently.Ability to walk continuously, bend frequently, climb occasionally and sit occasionally.Ability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds frequently.Ability to perform the functions required to push large carts, handcarts, appliance dollies and vacuum cleaners/carpet extractors.Preferred Job-Related Experience/Abilities/Education:High school diploma or equivalent.One (1) year experience performing basic custodial functions.One (1) year experience performing floor maintenance.Basic computer skills.ABOUT LUTHER ACRES:Luther Acres - located in the charming, historic town of Lititz - is a Continuing Care Retirement Community with a long history of providing excellent care and services.
