The role involves operating and setting up CNC milling machines, performing inspections, and maintaining a safe and efficient workplace.Position Responsibilities:Operate and run two CNC milling machines based on provided programs, work instructions, and blueprints.Set up CNC mill machines for specific jobs using provided programs and instructions.Understand and apply G-Code programming.Perform adjustments to maintain quality parts at the required production rate.Conduct first-piece and in-process inspections using the necessary inspection equipment.Document manufactured measurements as required by work instructions.Maintain equipment through regularly scheduled preventative maintenance.Follow all safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.Position Requirements:Proficient understanding of blueprints, including GD&T.Skilled in using inspection equipment for quality checks.Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.Good judgment and decision-making abilities.Strong attention to detail.Preferred:Experience with Haas machines.Education & Experience:Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CNC Mill Operator.Must be a U.S. citizen.Other job titles we would consider:CNC Milling Technician, CNC Mill Machinist, CNC Setup & Operation Specialist, CNC Machining Center Operator, CNC Milling Operator, CNC Operator - Mill Department, CNC Mill Setup Technician, CNC Machinist - Aerospace, CNC Milling & Programming OperatorAbout Spark Talent Acquisition:Spark Talent Acquisition is a Michigan-headquartered recruiting and staffing company that connects great talent with great employers.
