At St. Luke’s, our dedicated team of Feeding Therapists (Speech Language Pathologist or Occupational Therapist)are critical in providing exceptional, patient-centered care. We strive to foster an environment that embraces our employees' unique strengths, experiences and perspectives which ultimately drives our exceptional, patient-centered care.* We are unable to support a SLP CF candidate in this position.What You Can Expect as a Pediatric Feeding Therapist:Work with pediatric patients with feeding difficultiesPatient demographics will include treating patients 0-18 years old with feeding/dysphagia needs and as well as a variety of developmental and neurological diagnosis.Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary teamClinic Hours: 7AM-5:30PM; schedule to be determinedQualifications:Education: Degree from an accredited speech therapy or occupational therapist program.Licenses/Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross. Occupational Therapist:Valid license to practice occupational therapy in state of practiceSpeech Language Pathologist:One of the following: Speech Language Pathologist Provisional Permit to practice in the state of Idaho OR Speech Language Pathologist License to practice in the state of Idaho AND Certified ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross.Preferred Qualification: 1 year of pediatric feeding therapy experienceAt St. Luke’s, caring for people in the communities we serve is our mission - and this includes our own SLHS team.
