Trains lower-level Technicians on more advanced tasks.Work hours are Day shift, 6:00 am to 6:30 pm. Shift is rotating 12 hour, 4 days on, 4 days off.ResponsibilitiesWork includes maintaining, repairing, overhauling, inspecting, lubricating, and troubleshooting a wide variety of pumps and mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.Does preventive maintenance work on all plant equipment including air handlers, utility distribution equipment located throughout AbbVie Lake County sites.May perform vibration analysis and balancing functions on rotating equipment. Work may be on new equipment or rearrangement and/or retrofitting of existing equipment and accessoriesWork as a multi-skill tradesperson, doing electrical, pipefitting, building maintenance.Adhere to AbbVieâs code of conductMaintains the function of department assets to ensure reliable equipment and quality standards are met.Assists in root cause investigation and reliability centered maintenance analysisCapable of training others on tasks.Is proficient in multiple skilled trade disciplines and creates or edits maintenance job plansIntermediate computer skills (MS Windows)Fully proficient in their core function, performing advanced level tasksAssist cross functional teams outside of the maintenance organizationSupports continuous improvement projects and safety initiatives within the maintenance organization and/or the siteUnderstands and follows all safety and GMP regulationsAssist cross functional teams outside of the maintenance organization
